KHANTY-MANSIYSK, 17 Feb – RIA Novosti. There were no violations of the law on education during the lesson of courage with elements of a protest at school No. 42 in Nizhnevartovsk, the press service of the city administration told RIA Novosti following an internal audit.
Earlier, the Megapolis TV channel published a video, which, according to media reports, demonstrates part of a lesson conducted by police officers for school students in Nizhnevartovsk. In the footage, a group of students depicts protesters throwing sports balls towards other teenagers in helmets, who cover themselves in a row with shields commonly used by law enforcement officers in mass demonstrations.
According to the information of the city administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, published earlier, a lesson of courage was held at the school on Monday. Police officers met with the students, they talked about their work, and also “played a scene” in which the students themselves “played the role of heroes” under the guidance of law enforcement officers. The district office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs appointed an official check after the video from the lesson spread in social networks and the media.
The Nizhnevartovsk Department of Education also organized an internal audit. The head of the department, Inna Svyatchenko, said on Tuesday that the educational event at school # 42 was held on Monday with the participation of police officers and national guardsmen. At the same time, the press service of the regional administration of Rosgvardia told RIA Novosti that the employees of the department did not take part in this event.
“As a result of the verification of the facts of violation by the administration and specialists of the school of the requirements of the federal law …” On education in the Russian Federation “was not revealed. However, violations of the sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the organization and holding of mass events were revealed,” the press service of the mayor's office said on Wednesday words of Svyatchenko.
She clarified that the events were held at the initiative of the local police and had a “career guidance”. The department recommended the director of the school, as well as the heads of other educational institutions in the city, to analyze the plan of educational activities and pay special attention to the control of the content.
The official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia Irina Volk on Wednesday told reporters that the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug received a disciplinary penalty from the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltsev. The ministry called the involvement of minors in such events unacceptable.
