“About 65% of Moscow's roads and lanes have been cleared of snow. More than half of Moscow courtyards have also been cleared of snow. The roofs of social facilities have been cleaned,” said Biryukov.
According to him, work is underway to complete the cleaning of the road network and roofs within a week.
Utility workers in the capital continue to clean up after a snowfall that hit Moscow last Friday and the weekend. The height of the snow was 59 centimeters, which is the second result for the entire observation period (only 1 centimeter was missing before the record).
