MOSCOW, February 14 – RIA Novosti. The utilities of the Moscow region have taken out more than 24.5 thousand cubic meters of snow from public areas and from courtyards, the press service of the regional ministry of transport and road infrastructure reports.
“Yesterday communal services removed 24.6 thousand cubic meters of snow from public areas and courtyards. It will take five days for the utilities to remove snow,” the ministry's Telegram channel said.
As the minister of public amenities Mikhail Khaikin added, the situation in some municipalities is not easy, somewhere volunteers and employees of administrations came to the aid of utilities.
“Thanks to all the caring residents who understand the whole situation. The precipitation stopped only by yesterday evening. We mobilized all our forces and resources. Work will continue around the clock until we eliminate all the consequences of the snowfall,” the press service of Khaikin quotes.
