NYT: They wanted to connect Trump to a ventilator during COVID-19

MOSCOW, February 12 – RIA Novosti. US President Donald Trump was wanted to be connected to a ventilator during a coronavirus infection, according to the New York Times, citing informed sources.

Trump was admitted to the Walter Reed National Medical Center in early October 2020.

According to sources, doctors were particularly concerned about the level of oxygen in the president's blood. This figure for Trump dropped below 90%. The course of the disease is considered severe when the oxygen level in the blood does not exceed 90%.

As a result, Trump was discharged from the hospital after three days of hospitalization. Doctors said that Trump no longer has symptoms of COVID-19 and antibodies have been identified, but did not release the president's vital signs, as they did before during his treatment.
