MOSCOW, February 12 – RIA Novosti. The Moscow police have again warned about administrative and criminal liability for participation in illegal actions, according to the statement of the Moscow headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
The report says that uncoordinated public events took place in Moscow on January 23, 31 and February 2. As emphasized, the organizers of the actions “ignored the repeated warnings of the internal affairs bodies and other law enforcement agencies about the ban on mass actions during the period of restrictive measures related to the pandemic of the new coronavirus infection.”
It is noted that citizens who violated the law were detained to bring them to administrative responsibility. In addition, on the basis of the collected materials, criminal cases were initiated under articles on the use of violence against a representative of the authorities, on the disabling of vehicles or communication lines, as well as on violation of sanitary and epidemiological rules.
“The police recommend Muscovites and city guests not to respond to provocative calls for protest actions posted on the Internet and social networks. Remember that you are offered to participate in illegal actions for which administrative and, in some cases, criminal liability are envisaged,” message.
