The prosecutor's office demanded to annul the contracts between Batalov's daughter and Drozhzhina

MOSCOW, February 9 – RIA Novosti. The Moscow prosecutor's office has filed a lawsuit in the interests of the daughter of actor Alexei Batalov on invalidating the contracts of life maintenance with dependence, concluded with actress Natalia Drozhzhina, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation reports.

“The Prosecutor's Office of the Central Administrative District of Moscow, in the interests of Maria Batalova, sent a statement of claim to the Zamoskvoretsky District Court to invalidate the dependent life support agreements concluded with Drozhzhina, as well as to apply the consequences of the invalidity of these transactions,” the message says.

It is noted that the prosecutor's office conducted a check on information about the violation of the rights of the daughter of actor Alexei Batalov, Maria Batalova, as a result of illegal actions of Natalia Drozhzhina.

“It has been established that the actor's widow, acting on behalf of her daughter, Maria Batalova, signed, under the influence of deception, contracts of lifelong maintenance with dependents, the subjects of which are the daughter's one-third of the share in the common share ownership of an apartment located on Serafimovich Street, an apartment of 54 7 square meters, located on 1st Samotechny lane street, and non-residential premises with an area of 21.6 square meters, located on Serafimovich street. On the basis of these agreements, Drozhzhina acquired ownership of the property belonging to Maria Batalova, “the release notes.

The transactions of Drozhzhina and her spouse Mikhail Tsivin with Batalov's relatives had previously become the reason for the initiation of a criminal case for fraud. According to the investigation, because of the scam, the artist's widow and daughter lost two apartments and a share in another, the actor's workshop and a large sum. The disputed property was seized.

Drozhzhina and Tsivin face up to ten years in prison. The investigation asked to put both in jail, but the court limited itself to a milder measure of restraint – the prohibition of certain actions.

Batalov – one of the most famous actors of the Soviet era, has starred in more than 40 films, including “Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears”, “The Rumyantsev Case”, “The Cranes Are Flying”, “The Lady with the Dog”, “The Bridal Umbrella”.
