Earlier, Moyseenko was sentenced by the Leningrad District Military Court to 15 years in prison for inciting the murder of a subordinate.
According to the investigation, Moiseenko received more than 710 million rubles in bribes from construction contractors Ruslan Khamkhokov and Viktor Kudrin for committing actions within his powers to provide preferences to their firms during the construction of the Kresty-2 pre-trial detention center.
Moiseenko did not admit his guilt in bribery, refused to testify, the press service noted.
Earlier it was reported that the former general director of JSC GSK Kudrin was accused of abuse of power, but the case was dropped due to the expiration of the statute of limitations – this court decision was challenged by the regional FSIN. Former head of Petroinvest Khamkhokov was sentenced to 5 years of suspended imprisonment.
