KEMEROVO, 9 Feb – RIA Novosti. A resident of the city of Novokuznetsk in the Kemerovo region, who left to clean the roof of the dacha, survived, falling under a blockage of snow and spending 10 hours under it, the press service of the department for the protection of the population and the city's territory reports.
On the night of February 9, a woman called the control panel of the unified dispatching service of the Population and Territory Protection Department in Novokuznetsk, saying that her adult daughter, who had left for the dacha in the afternoon to remove snow from the roof, had not returned. Arriving at the dacha, the mother found only her daughter's car.
Representatives of several services were sent to the scene of the alleged incident.
The rescuers who arrived suggested that the woman was under a thick cover of snow. After two hours of searching, using only shovels and avalanche probes, rescuers found a hat and a ladder.
“This indicated that the search was going in the right direction. By this time, reinforcements arrived – the duty guard of the PSCh-4 firefighting and rescue squad №11 … The woman was found. After being in a 10-hour snow captivity, she … was alive, but was in a very serious condition, “- said in the message.
It is noted that the victim was hospitalized, at the moment she is in intensive care.
