COVID-19 vaccination begins in Peru

BUENOS AIRES, Feb 9 – RIA Novosti. Peru has begun vaccination against COVID-19, the first doses are intended for doctors, radio RPP reports.

We are talking about the Sinopharm vaccine, the first 300 thousand doses of which arrived on February 7.

The planes are expected to deliver the vaccine from Lima to other regions of the country within two days.

The country expects to receive additional doses of Sinopharm on February 14, and there is also an agreement with Pfizer and AstraZeneca, as well as the COVAX mechanism.
