MOSCOW, Feb 9 – RIA Novosti. The price of Brent crude exceeded $ 61 per barrel for the first time since January 24, 2020, according to trading data.
As of 05.16 Moscow time, April futures for the North Sea oil mixture of Brent rose by 0.51 percent to $ 61.1 per barrel.
The price of March futures for WTI crude oil as of 05.19 Moscow time grew by 0.64 percent, to 58.34 dollars per barrel.
The rise in oil prices, in particular, is associated with the OPEC + agreements that came into force in February. According to them, some countries will additionally reduce production by about 1.425 million barrels of oil per day, of which Saudi Arabia accounts for one million.
