SARATOV, 8 Feb – RIA Novosti. The Frunzensky District Court of Saratov fined Nikolai Bondarenko, a regional Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, for participating in an uncoordinated action on January 31.
As the press service of the court clarified, the politician was found guilty under the Code of Administrative Offenses “Violation by a participant of a public event of the established procedure for holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, march or picket” and sentenced to an administrative fine of 20 thousand rubles.
It follows from the protocol that uncoordinated rallies took place in the Frunzensky and Volzhsky districts of Saratov from noon to 17:40 local time on January 31. The police in loudspeakers warned the participants about administrative responsibility. “Bondarenko, despite the demands of the police officers to disperse, took part in the specified uncoordinated public event, thereby committing deliberate active actions during a public event without filing a notification of the public event in the prescribed manner,” added in the press service.
The court's decision has not entered into legal force and can be appealed.
