Earlier, the state service of Ukraine for emergency situations reported that on Monday in the western, central regions, as well as in the north of the country, including the Kiev region, heavy snow, wind gusts of 15-20 m / s, blizzards. In the Carpathian region and in the southern regions, snow with a transition to rain, adhesion of wet snow, ice, heavy rain in Transcarpathia.

“We call on all caring residents of Lviv today to join the citywide cleaning of streets from snow. The weather forecast for this week is disappointing. It seems that the snow will not subside. Our utilities are doing everything in their power. But help is needed,” Sadovoy wrote in his Telegram.
In order not to stand aside, employees of the mayor's office will also help the utilities.
“Today at 15.00 (16.00 Moscow time) all employees of the city council will go out to clean up. Request to residents, condominiums (Associations of co-owners of apartment buildings – ed.), Management companies and business owners to organize and clear the snow from your territories and premises.
