Zyuganov said that Tikhanovskaya and Navalnaya are serving other people's intelligence

MOSCOW, February 6 – RIA Novosti. The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Gennady Zyuganov, did not rule out that the West would try to make Alexei Navalny's wife Yulia “the second Svetlana Tikhanovskaya”, commenting on Tikhanovskaya's appeal to Navalnaya.

Earlier, the leader of the Belarusian opposition, Tikhanovskaya, in an interview with Agence France-Presse, compared herself to Navalny's wife, Yulia, urging her to “hold on, fight and believe” and take her husband's place.

“I would not be surprised if this is so, because this is an example long worked out by our opponents. We are accustomed to imposing their heroes on us … In general, the technique is not new in itself … Instead of correcting and forcing their husbands to the power and to serve the people, they serve other people's intelligence services, “Zyuganov told RIA Novosti.

Artem Turov, a member of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, also believes that the “already tested scenario” from Tikhanovskaya in Belarus may be attempted to be broadcast in the Russian Federation.

“The technologies of color revolutions are understandable, they have been taking place around the world, changing formats, for 20 years already. The tools of influence, approaches to shaping public opinion, information delivery, content itself are being updated, but these are all the same technologies. And the Internet now plays a key role in them.” , – Turov told RIA Novosti.

In 2020, Sergei Tikhanovsky was going to run for the presidency of Belarus, but was unable to register an initiative group for his nomination as a candidate; later, by a court decision, he was imprisoned. His wife Svetlana subsequently participated in the election campaign as a candidate. The opposition considers her to be the winner of the elections. Tikhanovskaya left for Lithuania and was put on the interstate wanted list in Belarus and Russia. Tikhanovsky is accused in a number of criminal cases, the term of his detention was previously extended until the end of February.

The Simonovsky Court of Moscow on Tuesday ruled to cancel Navalny's suspended sentence in the Yves Rocher case and replace him with three and a half years in a general regime colony. Shortly thereafter, leading Western countries including the United States, Germany, France and the United Kingdom appealed to the Russian authorities to release Navalny. Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry advised foreign politicians commenting on the situation with Navalny to respect international law and deal with the problems of their countries, noting that statements by Western politicians on this topic are “like a blueprint.” The Kremlin said it did not intend to listen to statements from abroad about Navalny.
