MAKHACHKALA, February 7 – RIA Novosti. Rosgvardia will make every effort to investigate the incident in the police department in Makhachkala , where the former head of the village was killed, the ministry's press service said.
Earlier, a law enforcement source told RIA Novosti that the former head of the Novokuli village of the Novolaksky district of Dagestan, Abakar Kaplanov, was shot dead in the office of the head of the Soviet District Department of Internal Affairs in Makhachkala. According to the agency's interlocutor, the deceased “had a long-standing enmity” with two Russian National Guardsmen from the same village, the conflict “began on the basis of land disputes.”
“The Rosgvardia will make every effort to fully, comprehensively and objectively consider all the circumstances of the incident,” the Rosgvardia statement said.
As reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Dagestan, more than 300 compatriots of the deceased gathered at the police department where the murder took place. More than 130 police officers were sent to the scene, whose task is to prevent the conflict from flaring up.
The head of the Rosgvardia department for Dagestan, Police Major General Magomed Baachilov, arrived there, and the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic also left for the scene.
