Israel vaccinates its diplomats against coronavirus

TEL-AVIV, February 7 – RIA Novosti. Israel is conducting a coronavirus vaccination campaign among its diplomats, the country's foreign ministry told RIA Novosti.

“Today, 10 diplomats from the Israeli embassy in New Delhi and employees of consulates in Mumbai and Bangalore received the vaccine,” the Foreign Ministry said.

Also, in the near future, the arrival of the diplomatic missions from Rome is expected. In addition, the Israeli media reported that diplomats from London have already received the first dose of the vaccine, and in a few weeks they will again fly to Israel for the second dose of the vaccine.

Mass vaccination of the population against COVID-19 began in Israel on December 20 last year. On January 10, the vaccinated began to receive the second dose. So far, more than 3.42 million people have received the first dose, and 2.015 million have received the second.
