MOSCOW, February 7 – RIA Novosti. One person died and two were injured in a fire in an apartment on Solntsevsky Prospekt in Moscow, an emergency services representative told RIA Novosti.
The Moscow headquarters of the Ministry of Emergency Situations clarified that at 20.50 a message was received about a fire at Solntsevsky Prospekt, house 7, building 1, where a fire took place in one of the apartments on the last floor of a nine-story residential building. The area of the fire was 15 square meters.
“As a result of the fire, one person died and two were injured,” said an emergency services representative.
“Fire and rescue units … five people were rescued, they were handed over to doctors for inspection … By the measures taken at 21.15, the fire was extinguished,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the capital added.
